PowerNet is the technology for providing Ethernet over existing electrical and coaxial cabling. This technology now enables IP applications to be delivered where traditional Ethernet cabling has been too expensive or very disruptive to install. The PowerNet product suite is unique and is based on a technological solution which means that there is virtually no disruption during the installation and provides a very cost effective solution for locations where network cabling is either very difficult or involves significant manpower. Potential solutions include delivering internet access, IP TV, IP Telephony and as an enabling technology for Conditioned Based Monitoring to the offshore, marine and manufacturing industries. Other uses include Internet and CCTV systems for Hotels, Caravan parks, Marinas, Port Authorities and Historical sites where traditional cabling or WIFI is difficult or costly to deploy. |
